Burmese hill tribes occupy parts of the Northern Thailand, Laos, Burma boarder region. Traditionally some chew betel root, a mild stimulant that stains the mouth and teeth. Boats and dwellings are constructed from bamboo with thatched roofs.These shots were taken with Jim's Contax G series using Kodak Ektachrome film.
