Tibetan rugs are a well known commodity and come from a variety of sources. At this particular location they are crafted in stages by the workers who live on site in the foothills of Lhasa. From the processing and coloring of wool, to the weaving and design of the rugs, the product is handmade start to finish in this small facility located next to a Buddhist Monastery.
